Question about the "attack" knob on my ACP88...

Is the "attack" knob on my ACP88 pretty much the same as the "hold" knobs on the Behringer Multigate that the ACP88 replaced? I just got the ACP88 and didn't get to experiment with the gates very much over the weekend.

    Thanks for the help!

The Attack dictates how quickly the compressor kicks in.

Dang it! I was hoping the attack knob was another term for hold! Man, that's going to screw up how good a job I do with getting the toms right...
