    Wink

Well, I have unusualy taste, I guess. And I don't think I can think of ten guitarist that actualy turn me on, but, here's my list.

    1. Alex Lifeson - Love this guy, he's such a creative guitarist, so amazing, and so funny.
    2. Eddie Van Halen - I'm a HUGE fan of rhythm, what this guy lacks in lead he has in rhythm.
    3. Slash - Dark, long hair, leather pants, huge hat, awesome, raw guitar god.
    4. Eric Clapton - He made me want to buy a guitar, I was at a friends and his father has some cool guitar stuff and guitars, and my friend was playing with his, and showing my other friend how to play an Eric Clapton song, forget the one... Probably Cocain, anyways, then he asked if I wanted to learn anythnig, I said "Sure" and he tought me layla, it was awesome.
    5. Tonni Iomi (sp) I know everyone's said RR, but the only RR song that I felt for was Crazy Train, when I sit in my car and listen to "We Sold Our Soul For Rock and Roll" I just feel so great listening to it, all of it.

Well, I knew i wouldn't be able to come up with 10, oh well, here's my list, enjoy.

Cool list. Ya gotta love Eddie Hazel. And Jerry Douglas is one of those guys who has taken his particular thing so far, there is nobody out there who's even in the same category.

Hey , up there in Norway do you get the chance to catch Terje Rypdal live? He didn't make my top ten list, but would probably be in the top twenty. I can't recall the last time he came to the States.

    In no particular order...

SRV--taught me that it's more about soul than notes. and much more.
John Scofield--opened my ears to new ideas and to jazz
Dave Matthews--helped me to play great rhythm guitar
Eric Johnson--showed me the importance of outlining chords while soloing
Trey Anastasio--fun and crazy but precise and knowledgable
Pete Thoenes--my teacher and mentor, he's the best player on the list
My Dad--played a variety of insturments and is the reason I play today
    Buzz Feiten--the Melodic Minor king
    Joe Satriani
    Robben Ford

It's cool to see how diverse the lists are.
