Hello All,
I have just gotten Ableton Live and am very thrilled about the new possibilites and creative resources this program has given me. I feel my music going in a new direction. I am looking to do a lot of live looping and my question here is how can I set up Midi Drum Pads with my computer and control Ableton live from my drum set. I am looking to use the functions like record, clip play, scene play, and maybe some mixing controls. My question is how can I interface midi drum triggers with Ableton in this way.
Previous to this I have been using a Boss Rc-50 Loop station and I would really like to be able to link the RC-50 and my computer to the same clock and possibly some shared controls to get them working together. Do any of you all know how I could set that up?
Any advice on this endeavor I am taking would be REALLY appreciated.
