    Hey,

Regarding the auto search and select capabilities...I'm in a very dense RF environment. Who's got the latest and greatest in this regard?
    What, no sound check? Again?

    Whats up Everyone?

Hows everybody doin? my name is Luca Im from Johnstown, Pa. Im 27 yrs.old. Ive been songwriting for about eight years and performing for about two. About six months ago I got tired of working for money and doing something that I didnt really want to do so I decided to go into business myself. I live in a spacious three bedroom alone. One of my spare bedrooms actually has a 10' X 6.5' office/extra room attached to tha back of it. Im building my studio there. Tha smaller room will be my tracking room. Heavy renovations are currently taking place in there now. Im very new to tha whole Recording/ Production side of tha business but music is what I love. I plan on cutting a CD and selling it at gigs I do throughout all of western Pa. There are alot of colleges in a 150 mile radius so Ill try an exploit that. My website is under contruction. I plan on selling Jingles and Business Identity programs to help get tha money flowing early to survive. I have alot to Learn so any Advice anyone wants to offer, Ill be more than willing to listen. Ill be hanging around mostly doin alot of reading. I appreciate you guys sharing your wisdom. Give me a shout if you think I can help in anyway.

    Luca.

Welcome to the site. The 3035 would probably do fine for you. Trying to buy gear with no money is hard, but read the posts, and make an informed decision. By nice or by twice.

Hi, my name is Paul. I am electrical engineering student in the latter half of my BS degree, and happen to be a violinist. I have been recently investing some of my time on the behalf of my girlfriend’s interest to do some small on location recording. This interest of hers is driven by her graduate application requirements for her degree in music composition. Hopefully I can get some good tips here when I explain my intentions in more detail.

Just thought I'd briefly re-introduce myself as the new moderator here, since Nika's heading off to law school. I introduced myself on the first page of this thread and have been hanging around here since, so I imagine most of you know me already.

    My name is Brian,

I'm 23 from Aurora (suburb of Denver) Colorado. I run a small project studio around school and work. I've been producing for a handful of local bands. I also have played drums for 11 years, guitars/bass for 5 and piano off and on (mostly off) since I was 5.
I recently fronted the band Pardon, but we broke up before getting anywhere. Check out www.drumroomproductions.com for my studio!

    Hi all.
I'm a sound engineer from Oslo, Norway. I've spent my last year as production manager at the "Rockefeller Music Hall" here in Norway. I quit that job two months ago and am now going back to the freelance life again.

I mainly work with live sound, but am doing more and more studio things and I have also done some TV stuff as well.

Looking forward to joining your community here.

(Now I just have to read through what you guys have posted the last couple of years)

    Cheers
