Lucid converters certainly do sound good... but nothing sounds like an Apogee. I've been using Apogee converters for years, mainly for monitoring and mastering. There is far more to a converter than the converter chip itself, such as the way the analog section is designed, the power supply (this is a huge part of it believe it or not), the clock, etc. What you get with a Rosetta is a very musical sound that is warm with very pristine highs, very tight bass response, accurate mids, and a great master clock source.
