    Matering House

    Hey,

I know this has been posted before, but I am too lazy to search it out. What are some of the Good, yet affordable for project bands, mastering house. Randy, I know you have a faithfull guy, whats his name again?

We used a fantastic mastering guy down in Austin, TX on our last CD. This was after first sending it to a guy who did such a terrible job you could actually hear the clipping. The second guy was recommened to us by Lloyd Maines who is a well known Texas producer and father of Natile Maines of the Dixie Chicks.

I don't have the guy's number but I will get it from my bass player and post it here. We are definitely going to send our current CD project back to him when it is finished because he was that good. You can go here to listen to some of our clips http://cdbaby.com/cd/soulville

This CD was done piecemeal because it was recorded over the course of a few months using two different consoles and he did a good job of bringing a much more cohesive sound to the final mix than I would have thought possible. I highly recommend him.

I'll track down the contact info as soon as I can.
