What CD recorder would you use?

I am putting together a recording and archiving system for my church. I'm hoping to use only a CD recorder and microphone for the project. It will be recording the spoken word so a large frequency range is not important. My idea of an ideal recorder would be:

    Dual drives for making copies
Built-in preamp for using with a mic
MP3 recording (allowing large amounts of storage in a small space)
A pro recorder for long trouble free service

Any help in this project would sure be appreciated.

    Steve,

I setup many sound and recording systems every day, as well as those for churches for recording everything from the message only to the full service. In fact, I am the Technical Director at my own church and am in charge of a rather large and complex sound and lighting system. Why don't you call me directly at (800) 222-4700 x1362 so I can run some ideas and suggestions by you.
