Try these. Great sounding cabs, but very power hungry. Don't try to feed them with less than a 1000 watt amp.

If the total power handling capacity of the cab is 240 watts and there are 4 drivers in the cab, that works out to 60 watts per driver. If you wire them in pairs it works out to 120 watts per pair.
I'm kinda partial to the Fulltone BassDrive myself.
OK, I'm a bit confused. I've heard of the 410XL, but not a BXL or a BCL and are you sure about that rating? 240 watts sounds pretty weak for a 4x10 cab.
I have a Dean Edge 1 and the thing is a hoot to play, but I surely wouldn't call it mellow sounding. In fact the reason I bought it was because it sounds pretty outragous. They're nice basses...
Save yourself a lot of confusion (and money) over which botique cables are best. Here's everything you need to know about cables.

This makes all previous forms of music obsolete. We might as well quit right now because none of us can hope to compete anymore.

Well, if it helps any, here's an MP3 of a Duncan QP P-Bass pup mounted in a '79 Kramer DMZ4000. Originally the Kramer came with a Dimarzio, but the Dimarzio was peaky and difficult to record. The...
Some basses record well and some just don't. I don't know why this is, but it is. Fender basses are some that record very well and I'll repeat some of the advice others have given you and say try the...
Bass Pod! :)
Well that will work. EBS is among the best. Congrats!

I'd look into the Ashdown Electric Blue 15-130. 15 in speaker, 130 watts RMS. It sells for about $400 which I know is a bit more than you wanted to spend, but I think it's a much better amp than any...
Triple-C. I love the thing. It's very versitile and it looks bitchin sitting in my bass rack.
I use one in my bass rig and it serves double duty for home recording. I'm quite impressed with the thing, but be warned, there is definitely a learning curve to it. You're actually going to have to...
The Leslie was a cab used with electric organs, typically Hammond. Inside the cab was an amplifier, motor, a set of two rotating horns and a speaker enclosed in a drum. The horns were mounted in the...
If you want the country sound, get yourself an old Peavey T-40. The T-40 was to country music in the 80's what the P-bass was to rock in the 60's. They really were ahead of their time and the...
My first choice would be Bag End, but Eden comes in handily at second place.
