I've got a new laptop FS Amilo 1667G with Turion 64. And now I have a problem with M-Audio Audiophile USB.
After installing a soundcard it doesn't play well: the sound have a pop ups and clicks, it's distorted!
Then after installing Cubase SX2, the card doesn't play at all. There is no way to complete ASIO multimedia tests in Cubase. In Cubase can see card, but it doesn't work. So, i thought, maybe audio card is damaged, but no. It works perfect with my desktop PC. And it worked well with my previous laptop: it was FS Amilo 1630 AMD 64.
But, then tryied to play wave file in Sound Forge – it works, no distortion, but CPU usage was 100%
I don't know what to do. It seems the problem with drivers, but on M-Audio website have only 1 driverpack is available for Audiophile 2496 USB.
Any ideas what to do?
