Updating Drivers

I am trying to connect to the internet on my Sweetwater configured ibook so I can update my 828 driver. Problem is that I can't get the modem to dial in so I can connect. I am new to the mac world, so I am floundering.

I don't know if the modem is configured, if the driver is installed, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to set up your ISP account. This can be done with the "Internet Setup Assistant". It's more than likely on the computer already somewhere, do a sherlock search.
