hai friends
i m having a home studio,now trying to set up it with a professional look.now i m having only a 500W offlone UPS for my PC(P4 2.8Ghz,SP2),Behringer UB1202 Mixer and other instruments.
here in india the voltage is 230-210volt....
evening time it will low to 160.
one of the Waves member suggested me to use a good power distributio strip and avoid variation which will seriously effect all.
so,i need a practical suggession on this matter

if need,
u can send mail direct to me.

Both of these not only stabilize your power, but clean it...little expensive, but I'd be lying if I said they didn't work. I have the bottom one on order now.

While these Monster units, and other similar units are very nice and do a great job of cleaning, surge suppression, etc. , they will not convert low voltages to the proper operating range. They are not transformers. In order to increase and stabilize serious undervoltage situations, it is necessary to incorporate an automatic variable line transformer, sometimes known as a "Buck/Boost" transformer. Think of these as a compressor for line voltages, where the comp has a threshold and auto make-up gain. When the voltage drops below the threshold, the transformer will boost the voltage until it reaches the pre-determined "shelf", and then it will hold it in proper range.
They can be ordered in many different sizes of amperage, voltage and phase. You can probably find them by using Google, or similar search engine.
