Acid recording problem

I got ACID 2.0. Totally love it, but the only thing that I hate is that every time when I record a track using AICD, it turns out sounding weird. I don't think it's my setup because it sounds totally fine when I open that track on SF.
The weird sound I get has a bit of phase, and somewhat compressed...You think something might be wrong with the tempo setting? and anything?

sounds like it....what BPM did you record it at?

if worse comes to worse, just check the properties and make it a "one-shot"

also check the chord of it and the song.
