Logic Audio 5/Control Surface

Anyone have any opinions on LAP 5 and its control surface? I saw the demo at NAMM and I'm a believer! Unfortunately, I only saw the Mac demo -- I'm not a Mac user.

It's time for me to upgrade, so I don't have a problem going with Mac if it has some significant benefits when using LAP 5 and the control surface. For example, the Mac version supposedly will run TDM plugs -- will the Windows version? I'm not looking to start a Mac vs. PC thread, I'm just trying to avoid learning Mac if I don't have to.

Half of my friend's recording studio use PC and half use mac....hmmmm...I don't see the pros of learning a whole new system just to reap the rewards of using a Mac. These are ONLY my two cents.
I use a LAP 4.8 with a PC. I will upgrade to 5 and will love it on my PC.

ill stick with 4.7 though....just till they get all the bugs and kinx out of 5.
