Logic Audio 5 NAMM demo

Did anyone see the Windows LAP 5 demo at NAMM? Did you note which OS was used? If so, any thoughts on it? Unfortunately, I only watched the Mac demo, which was very slick.

They had it running on Windows XP.

Thanks. Any thoughts on it and/or the control surface? Their Mac version crashed once during the demo. I would love to stay on the PC platform if possible, but don't have a problem switching to Mac if it's worthwhile. Did they mention if TDM plugs can run on the Windows version?

It looked solid, I never saw it crash. My friend at Emagic was running the demo on the XP machine and he's mainly a Mac guy. He thought is was great on XP. I didn't know about the TDM support in 5.0 or I would have asked. I'll see what I can find out but I have a feeling that this will be a Mac only feature.

You're probably right about TDM and Mac. It would be very cool if they've got a way to make them work on PC though!

With the amount of time that Digi spends on PC it doesn't really encourage anyone to develope code for that system. At this point TDM support is Mac only from Emagic.
