Please do tell what music style and recording gear you are using now and how many instruments you will track at once. IE. will you record a full drum set at once?

im in an industrial/tekno band
heres the gear:
Ibanez GAX-7 6-string guitar
Zoom 505 Effects Pedal
DOD Amp
Casio HT-700 keyboard
Yamaha SY85 keyboard
Nord Lead 1 keyboard
Korg Electric Analog Synth
Roland VP-70 Voice Processor
Digitech GSP 21 Processor
Shure SM57 mic
Art Tube mic preamp
if anything, we would only record like 2 tracks at a time.

Even though I`m not crazy about the Yamaha mixer setup, save your pennies and wait to get an O1V. Don`t you need inputs for you keyboards and sound modules?
Did you ever consider purchasing a DAW first?
What do you use now to record vocals and instrumentals onto?
Peace,
Ernest
PS- I don`t support Behringer products after they tried to rip MAckie off. Any company that does this, is not worthy of my cash. Thats my $.02
(Did you ever wander why Sweetwater doesn`t carry Behringer gear?)

Can`t go wrong with a Mackie.
Looks like all you need is a syncronizer.
Peace,
Ernest

A synchronizer connects two devices so they are in time. Look up the MOTU MTP AV.
You may not need it for your setup but you will eventually need one.

I like Mackie stuff...I think it's great. Kinda reminds me of when I was awaiting my first Peavey mixing console back in the stone ages....he he.
