Greetings,

Has anyone experience with Samson XP200 or Mackie SRM350 PA Monitors?

How would you evaluate their performance?

I'm looking for efficient amplification for my V-Drums.

Thank you

I've used both, and also sold both to many customers. although both would work with your v-drums, I can also recommend the ones from Roland that are specifically for the V-drums: PM10, PM3, and the TDA700. you can find them right on the Sweetwater website. for personal monitoring, the Samson and Mackie that you're looking at should work as long as you have the right cables. the sound will be great for personal monitoring, but the Roland items are really worth checking out.

feel free to contact me directly if you have any further questions.

And for something else as an alternative, check out the Alto PS4LA or PS4HA cabinets. The 10" version isn't yet available in the US, but these are truely incredible sounding for the price.

Thanks for the input.

I purchased 2 Barbetta Sona 32Cs, and am very pleased with the quality and performance - plus, I'll save my back...
