A ?uestion..

one thing i find very annoying and weird is that on one session that i´ve made, when i try to highlight one track and trim the region all the other tracks get highlighted to..and when i try to turn some channels down all the other tracks get turned down too..this is very odd i think but can anyone help me?

In your group bin you've highlighted "all".

The group feature is very powerful and I use it on nearly all of our sessions. You do well to read up on it's capabilities.

how do you change it to normal?

In either your Mix view or Edit view window and off to the left you'll find the Show/Hide bin and below that the Group Edit bin. De-select any or all highlighted groups.

I get the gut feeling however that if you're struggling with something as fundamental as "group select" you're most likely missing out on a world of other less obvious but equally powerful tricks and tools of Pro Tools.

Just a friendly suggestion of course but there's lot's of good books and dvd tutorials out there.

i know...ey i´m 14 years old..i don´t think i need no learn all of pro tools capabilities right now..i´m just doing music and work on that...
