lol, i thought this was real until i seen the system requirements. there is no way there would be a mac version before the release of the windows version.... lol

Right...it's a gate. No matter what they say, it's still just a gate. If a gate's not working, you have other problems.

can anyone answer a pro tools question? we're trying to get the computer to see the digi 02 rack, but it will not recognize it and pops up a message saying that protools is in use, but protools is not actually running-pro tools was installed like 10 minutes ago, and we can't figure out what we are doing wrong? any help?

Uninstall and reinstall.
