digi002 Firmware or Power Harness Issue?

Issue:
Updated to LE 6.4
Attempted to update firmware on my digi002
8 mins into update, got "no hareware detected" message

--firmware update error ... this can't be good!--

I rebooted my system*. It worked inconsistantly the first day or so.
Now (3 days later) no responce from 02. Just getting a clicking sound.
The "LINK" light on the back of the 02 is blinking in sync w/ clicking.

I tried reloading the firmware from the original program disk, but same message.
"no hardware detected"

Not sure what to do ... any help would be appreciated.

*G4 dual 1.23 running OSX 10.3.9

That sounds like the power harness issue to me. The clicking and blinking light were what I had when I had that problem. Call Digidesign, I believe they will ship you a new harness free of charge (and instructions on installing it)

I talked w/ digidesigns tech support. It was indeed the "power harness". I have an early model digi002r so they are sending both the power supply and the harness.

They've been really helpful.
