Your thoughts on these speakers? I can get a pair fairly cheap... around 250.00 and as I have 0 monitors right now.. Ive looked for reviews but cant find any.

What do you have to say about these?

They're certainly not very transparent and they have a really wierd treatment of the frequencies around 1k-3k (likely the crossover freq). But, if this is what you can afford, they're not bad.
