I am pretty new to recording and using ProTools. I recently bought an Mbox and I recorded a song with the band i'm in. The way we recorded the drums was we ran the mics into a mixer and then 2 the inputs of the Mbox, however now when I listen 2 the mix I really would like to turn down the ride and turn up the snare, but i'm stuck with the way it is. Is there anything I can do or buy that can give me more inputs or a way to have everything on its own channel?

You have so many options it's scary. Something like the Focusrite OctoPre (I think) gives you 8 preamps that convert to digital and then feeds a lightpipe out (I can't remember if this is true exactly but it's something like that and there are several products like this).

Actually, your options are fairly limited on an MBox. There is no way to add inputs to an MBox system. The most you'll be able to record at once is 2 channels.
You can, however, upgrade. The next model up from Digidesign is the Digi002. If you still have the option of doing so, my advice would be to return the MBox from whence it came and purchase a Digi002 or Digi002 Rack from Sweetwater. If it's no longer an option to return it, call your Sweetwater sales engineer and ask about utilizing Digidesign's hardware exchange program. You can send your MBox back to Digidesign and purchase an Digi002 Rack from Sweetwater for $895 (cheaper than an Octopre, btw), or a regular 002 for $1795.
