Yamaha RY20

Hello friends at Sweetwater,

I am looking for an easy to use drum machine, with a lot of sounds and substantial power (mainly for recording rock music). So far it seems that the Yamaha RY20 would be the best choice. Does anyone have any experience with one of these or recommend another product? My second choice is the Zoom 323.

The RY20 is definitely a killer little drum-machine and one of the best. Personally though, I happen to prefer the Roland/Boss DR770. Guess it's because I'm a huge Roland fanatic (I had a pair of JV1080's, an A70, XV5080, and a pair of VM7200's fully loaded before leaving Connecticut).... :-) They are both about the same price, you can't go wrong with either.
