I have a Gateway 1GHz PIII w/640K RAM and a 40Gig HD. I have been steered towards the STAudio DSP 2000 and the Digidesign DIGI-001 as good candidates for an Audio/MIDI interface. My only requirements upfront are to run monitors, controller keyboard and mix CD-quality, and import samples, WAV's, AIFF's through soft synths, etc. Any consumer reports, comments, offerings for me, good or bad?
