digi002 questions

I'm about to buy a digi002 rack unit,but I need help with some questions. I know the digi002 has 8 analog inputs(xlr&trs),lets say a band comes to my studio we set the drums I use all my 8 channels thats cool I can deal with that.But what if? the band wants to record the bass and guitar also,what would I do:confused: if I already used my 8 channels.

hey jazzman one more question or to any member in the forum, so can I use all 8 channels or just 2 ch from the digimax

You can use all 8 channels of the Digimax through the optical port, and it also has the same signal coming out of 8 -1/4" outputs simultaneously (that is what I use to feed an external mixer for latency free headphone mixes)
