Is there any way to control the apparent "bleed" that's built into the V-Drums? I have a TD-10 with a TDW-1 expander. The kick is routed to the main outs, L; snare is main outs, R; hat is direct 1, L; toms are are direct 2, stereo; cymbals are direct 3, stereo.
Thanks,

Ready for this? The "bleed" as it were, is caused by the vibrations transmitting through the frame---cute huh? hahaha

Wow, that's incredible! I thought it was by design, to sound more realistic. Do you do anything to deal with it?

Thanks again,
Stu

I think I may have missunderstood your question. I thought you were talking about the "ghosting" that happens when you play hard. If you are talking about, literaly, a bleed through I'm going to guess that it's mostly the Main outs that are culpret? I would guess that all the inputs are going to one reverb which is than routed to the main outs. If this is the case, you could maybe make it more realistic by routing the overheads to the main outs instead (as they would pick up everything and the room anyway).

Try turning off the reverb effects and the ambience/room effects on the TD-10 and do everything dry. You would have to use outboard effects. This might help.
