I am going to be putting together a "portable mini-studio" with a new Windows based laptop.
I've been looking at the Tascam 428 and the Roland U8 as possible USB input devices.
Any opinions/insights about either of these models would be greatly appreciated.
Pros/Cons, etc.
Are there any other solutions for a laptop in this price range?
