I am looking for a book or something that can give me as much detail about Mac's and the OS. I am familiar with it but I need something that can firm up my foundation and also get me a more advanced understanding. If anyone knows of any good books like this plz help me.

Thanks

Well, a long time ago in the OS 7.6 days, IDG used to put out a big huge "bible-sized" book entitled "Mac Secrets".

However, I don't think they publish it anymore these days.

There's great forums like this one at XLR8 Your Mac (http://www.xlr8yourmac.com) and the Mac Gurus (http://www.macgurus.com) with a bunch of old mac-addicts that can answer just about any Mac question you can think of.

Also, perusing Apple TIL (https://signin.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/signin.woa?locationurl=http://kbase.info.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/kbase.woa/128) could help as well, even though you'll have to register (if you haven't registered anything before) to use it. Navigating it is quite time consuming though, so you've been forewarned!
