Mackie 24-8 bus

With my Mackie 24-8, I can't get signal from the tape outputs. The only way I can get signal to my ADATs is through the direct outs.
The tape returns work just fine. What am doing wtong?

Have to ask this. You're sure you're grabbing the tape (bus) outputs and not the tape returns? The multiple outs will be just to the right of the Main L/R XLR outputs. The tape returns will be farther to the right under the input section. (as if looking from the back of the board). Additionally, you have to have the channel assigned to a bus, not the L/R, in order to have signal present at the tape output.

Thanks bro. I don't think it says in the manual that you have to assign the busses to get signal from the tape output. Care if I email you some MacOS questions? dp
