What's the deal here. 2 products with virtually the same name?

I bought the $30.00 Subscription to http://www.noadware.net/ the other day and it seems to be finding those nasty parasites, but a tech downloaded Adaware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ onto my system and it found even more parasites, and it's free.

I have been using the one from lavasoft for about two months and I have no complaints. I also use spybot (It was free but I don't remember where I found it).

Yeah, you usually need to run two scanners to catch everything. Sometimes one has a fix for something that the other can't touch, or hasn't had a definition added to it's database yet.

I use AdAware and Spybot S&D, and they work great together.

I also keep AVG anti-virus running, which stops some of the viri and trojans that put the adware there in the first place.
