I'm having a problem recording MP3's from an analog source in Soundjam 2.5.3 using my 828. This is my only option for recording MP3's from an analog source, since I have a powerbook G4 550 mhz without a mic jack in the back. I'm using system 9.2. In the sound Control Panel, I have selected a pair of inputs from the 828 as my Sound In source, and I can see and hear level out of the 828, and on the control panel from my analog source. Everything is patched correctly in the audio scheme, and in the software, as far as I know. When I go into Soundjam and try the "Record From Sound Input" feature, the next step is naming the file. I type in a name, and the next step is usually looking at the input level and pressing the command to start recording, but my computer displays an error message regarding the correct sound input device. I've been using Soundjam to record on my desktop for a couple of years, but that was when Macs came with a stereo input jack in the back, which is where I plugged my input. Are there any known conflicts between these two devices/programs?
