Hafler TRM8 -what does anyone know?!!

Guys, I posted a question about this the other day but I'm a bit desperate to catch your attention and comments as I've new info so hence the new post.
I've learnt I can get a trade show demo pair of Haflers in Australia with full warranty at the same price as the best US price I have seen. I've never heard them and could get them sent up (2000 miles) on trial but with the hassle of paying substantial freight back if I don't like them.
The Dynaudio BM6As are a no-brainer in that I know I like them but they are over $1200 Aust dearer at best price.
Can anybody comment as I'd love $1200 towards a PCM91!!

I used them in school and thought they were good monitors for the price. They were the 8" active models in some of the studios, and the 5" models in a couple of classrooms (great for watching mocvies in surround!), and the 10" active sub in all rooms. I liked them. If I ran across a pair for a good price I would give them a try in my studio.
