Hi,
I've got a pair of Genelec 1029As and a pair of Yorkville YSMP1s. They both have volume controls built into the speaks. The Genelecs are a full volume knob and the Yorkvilles are more of a trim with a -6 to +9 and a notched "<" setting.
What is the rule of thumb for these controls? I've currently got the Genelecs turned all the way up and the YSMP1s set to "<". I just use the "CR" volume knob on my DM-24 to control the volume of the mix.
Anyone?
