Hi,

I've got a pair of Genelec 1029As and a pair of Yorkville YSMP1s. They both have volume controls built into the speaks. The Genelecs are a full volume knob and the Yorkvilles are more of a trim with a -6 to +9 and a notched "<" setting.

What is the rule of thumb for these controls? I've currently got the Genelecs turned all the way up and the YSMP1s set to "<". I just use the "CR" volume knob on my DM-24 to control the volume of the mix.

Anyone?

Just make sure the Genelec's are the same level....them match the Yorkville's to the Gene's volume level...so when switching monitors you have the same volume level......
