sac-2k and Digital Performer 3

I just bought a sac-2k and am trying to use it with DP 3 ... It doesn't seem to work... any advice?

Have you tried the basic setup procedure below?

1. Copy the SAC-2K driver (from the Sac2k driver CD) into the Plug-ins folder that is inside the Digital Performer folder.
2. In the FreeMIDI Setup, add a SAC-2K device that uses one MIDI transmit and one MIDI receive channel. Name it "Sac2K".
3. In Digital Performer, go to "Control Surface Setup" and select SAC-2K in both the Hardware and MIDI Communication pull-down menus. Click OK. The SAC-2K driver will send a message to the SAC-2K to set its MIDI send/receive to the chosen channel.
4. Place the supplied templates around the three button fields accordingly.

If you have already done that, what specifically is not working about the controller?

And dave... What system setting should I use on the sac-2k? There doesn't seem to be one for digital performer.

That is the great thing about the SAC2K, you don't have to set it up to any particular setting. As soon as you get everything together as David has so thoroughly explained in the post above, The SAC2K receives a "handshake" from it's driver that sets the entire controller up for you. "S"oftware "A"ssigned "C"ontroller 2000!! *In my best Austin Powers* Yeah baby, yeah!:)

Hi everyone, hope you can help me!...

Recently i had a problem with my system, and i had to re-install all from the begining, starting with a new installation of windows XP.

Now i´m trying to install again my Radikal SAC-2K but i can´t find the
original cd with the drivers so i went to the download oficial Radikal Technologies section page.
I downloaded the SacUp301.zip, but it seems like it´s an updater and it only installs the:
SAC2KUSB.DLL and SAC2KUSB.SYS
I´m following step by step the Updinst.pdf, but there is no way to install the other 2 files, i mean:
RADITECU.SYS and RDTUSBCP.DLL


Could someone please e-mail me the original windows xp drivers?, and after i´ll update to this last version.

Please help me, i´m a little desperate and frustrated as i can´t find the solution by my self.
