I have had my DPS12i for several weeks now and still very slow getting everything set up when starting a new project. I didn't have any idea that I would have to give up the use of either 2 or 4 of the 6 analog inputs when using the internal effects. I am still trying determine just how to backup my unmixed tracks. I am using a Tascam CDRW-5000 for mastering. I would like to hook up with some other DPS12i users. I'm also interested in hearing from anyone using some kind of mic simulator. Are they worth the bucks? So far, for the reduced price I paid for my DSP12i, I think that the unit will fill the bill for a portable system.
