Does anyone know if it's possible to partition a firewire drive and then format one "drive" for a Mac and one for a PC? I'm doing digital video with it, and I want to be able to use my firewire drive on the Mac's I work with and on my laptop. I am assuming I couldn't transfer DV files between the two partitions, but at least this would let me use my one firewire case for two formats. My other option would probably be to buy a second firewire drive. I just thought I might save the money by partitioning the one drive into two parts.
