Hey Guys,
I was wondering if one of you had the answer to this. I did a session in PT that I was ready to bounce to disk, but everytime I try it , it goes through all the regular steps but then tells me (at the end) "Could not complete the bounce to disk command because: priviledged instruction executed in the user mode"

I have been able to bounce another session but I really need to convert this one A.S.A.P. I also tried converting it to a wav and it does it but, when I try to listen to the wav it says that it encountered a codec error.

Help please.
Thanks
P

What version of ProTools are you using, and what file format are you trying to bounce to?

There's a known issue with PTLE6.1 or 6.1.1 when trying to bounce to disc as MP3 in either the medium or high quality encoding. If it's appropriate for your system, you can try upgrading to 6.2 from http://www.digidesign.com/download/

If you want this done quick and easy, just bounce to wav. and then go to download.com and download a wav. to mp3 converter, it takes about 2 minutes and you're done.
