I've always been partial to recorders using tape, but decided to get something portable and digital, and move into the 21st century.
Although I've looked at a few over a no. of weeks, a friend recommended the Zoom MRS-1044 unit because of the built in drum machine and effects, which would allow me to write on my own, and present it to other musicians afterward.
Also, the price is very good for a digital machine with built in effects.
I've never cared much for zoom effects, but I thought that since the recorder is just a tool to capture an idea I could overlook that.
I'm wondering if there's a downside to this unit that I might not be aware of.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this model, and would appreciate any info I could get from someone who's used it, or is using it.
