USB anyone?

I'm looking for a simple USB interface. It must have s/pdif I/O, one xlr with a decent pre and a trs stereo input. I'm looking to spend around $150. And just to be sure, with USB I don't need to run my signal path through a sound card, right?? Excuse the dumb question, but I've been avoiding using my computer for anything except MIDI and now must face the harsh reality that my beloved sx-1 won't do everything I need it to do. Thanks Randy. That would have almost worked but I have to have S/PDIF I/O too. I do vinyl restoration with a digital turntable and really would like to keep that signal path digital. There has to be a product that fits my needs for the price I want to pay, anybody else
