Hi folks,
I played bass for a local production of OZ earlier this year, and I just got word that in 2 days we're getting together again for the recording of a CD. There are a bout 30 kids that will be singing, me (on bass and classical guitar), and a piano/keyboardist. My question is this. How does everyone else hear the keyboard without too much bleedthrough? We don't have enough headphones for everyone. The setup is in a fairly small (about 200 seats) theater. We're recording using 2 AT condensers in x-y in the middle with crown floor mics on the outside. Then we have an AKG 3000 for the lead vocals, all running into a Yamaha MD8 minidisk multitracker.
Thanks a lot!
Nick
