Hello,
I just wanted to know how can I gain bass frequency of about 100-80hz and how can I get rid of mid-bass frequency of about 160-250 hz. I've already considered doing a helholtz resonator but I have yet to understand how can I tune it specifically. If anyone can help me with any of these issues it is greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

I can only assume you are trying to tune your room with theses resonators. Hemholts resonators are great and very effective, yet only attenuate single frequencies per. you may have to build a few. Also, do you have access to a real time analyser? This will help you to identify which modes you should really be concerned with. There's not too much math involved with creating your resonators, but It's been a while since I've used the equations...check out "the master handbook of acoustics" by F. Alton Everest....Version 4 i believe is now available. The book has a great section on taming room modes and building specific resonators and traps for a range of applications. Also check out Diaphragmatic / Panel absorbers for low frequencies.
I hope this helps some!

Thanks Brandon!!! I'll try your suggestion. I'll keep you posted in how it does. Thanks again!!!
