I saw this article over on ProRec.com. It realizes something I've been wanting to do for a long time now: Remote control my PC DAW. Check it out and see what you think.

Thanks,

Dan

That's one way to do it.

However, my solution was cheaper ($0.00).....

My sequencer (N-Track Studio) will allow the mapping of midi to sequencer control functions... most sequencers do. So I mapped out a dozen or so of the highest keys that I never use anyway on my 88-key keyboard for controls. True it's not going to control every little function, but it handles the major stuff.

I'll put the money I saved into a lot of other toys......

Interesting. So you are able to carry your 88 key controller around the studio with you and control your DAW? And your 88 key controller is wireless, too? Neat. What a great solution.
