Need a sequencing program

Hi guys,

Just picked up a Dell laptop. I'm looking for a sequencing program that will allow me to play midi files while searching for the next. Allow for lyrics to be embedded, and also tab or simple fake book type music print out. lyrics, tab/chord, and possibly melody line.

I will be controlling a synth off of that but are there any sound cards for laptops that sound as good as a Roland GM keyboard?
