Benchmarking Utilities?

Anyone know of a good set of benchmarking utilities?

I have an oddball motherboard that supports either PC133 or DDR2100 ram.
I'm going to swap out the ram tonight from 192 mb of 133 to 256 mb of DDR2100. I'd like to see a comparison of performance before and after.

Try searching www.download.com for "benchmark" or the like. A couple that caught my eye were "PCMark2002" and "PerformanceTest 4.0". Of course I haven't actually tried either of them but you might wanna give em' a shot.

I did end up using PCMark, It's big brother 3dMark is the one most graphics & gaming folks use.

So, on a 1800+ Athlon XP, I changed 192mb of pc133 for 256 of DDR2100, and swapped the 32mb Geforce 2/440 for a 128mb Geforce 4/5200.

PCMark scores -
Before:
CPU - 4402
MEM - 2252
HDD - 444

After:
CPU - 4523
MEM - 2900
HDD - 564

I'd be interested to see what some of the DAW systems score compared to this. I'm sure it's much higher, especially in disk performance.

Did you try using 3DMark too? I got a Geforce FX 5200 for my computer and man, do games look GREAT. Have you tried Medal of Honor? OHHHHH.... Gaming Sweetness. Of course, this is and audio forum...

3d mark was bogged down on downloads, so I'll get it later. I mainly wanted to see what impact the DDR vs PC133 ram would have on the system. I was looking more toward whole system performance than just the 3d gaming results.

BTW Crimson Skies looks much better now. :)

I just ran it on my system.
CPU score=3510
Memory=2797
HDD=794

My system=
Mobo = Soyo Dragon Plus with onboard SPDIF/6ch audio & network
Video= ATI radeon 7200 vid card
memory= 512meg of DDR (because I can't keep it stable with 1024meg!!..sorry don't remember if it's 1600, 2100 or whatever)
HD= (2) 40 gig Maxtor 6L040J2
Processor= 1.3ghz AMD Athlon

Running on XP home...
