In the Q/A section of the last SweetNotes (or was it the one before?) there was a quick mention about a company that will soon start shipping pre-built recording-focused PCs. Well, guess what, I accidentally threw out my copy. Can someone please repost that reference?

thanks in advance

Hi There!

I think you're referring to the Carillon systems. I read a review a few months back in Sound On Sound about one of their systems - very positive. I think it was the AC-1 Audio Computer.

You can get more info on http://www.carillondirect.com

Southway Systems has been the best help and understands how Sweetwater works. The owner is a customer. So if you're buying a system from Sweetwater that is a good route to take. Typically the machine is for doing a Gigastudio station. That is the only system that HAS to run on a PC that doesn't have a Mac $ equivalent that makes it worthwhile.
