Every now and then I take a look at the Tonequest Report website. Mostly just for kicks and to see what they have to say. They have an interview with "Analog Man" and I thought it was informative. There is also a link to his site at the top of the page. If you like analog effects you might find some of the stuff he has to say interesting. He discusses wah, chorus, compression, fuzz(fuzz face) and overdrive(Tube Screamer) circuits and how they've changed and what he has learned over his years of working on stompboxes. Of course...he plugs his pedals but that's to be expected.

Analog Mike (aka Analogman) is awesome. He does mods to classic and vintage pedals, making them true bypass and improving their basic tone. He also makes some of the best re-creations of classic pedals out there. I own one of his Clone Clone choruses, which is a very happy medium of the EH Small Clone and the old Boss CE-2. He also makes one of the best pedal compressors on the market. Those of you who dig overdrive would do very well to check out his mods to the Boss SD1 and the old Ibanez Tubescreamers. He takes what is great about these pedals and makes them ballsier and more reliable. Like Mike Fuller, he's all about tone and making the best pedals out there.
