Has anyone heard anything about this unit? I've seen advertisements and I downloaded the brochure; it sounds like a really sweet unit. Thing is, I haven't been able to find a review anywhere. Is there any word out on the street? Has it shipped yet?
...???

Hope everyone's well.
cheers,

I heard that unit last week - very nice. The EQ is sweet & the pre's sound excellent (considering it comes in at $435 per channel, list price). There are Sovtek tubes inside - one for each channel, I am excited about it.

I heard the Tube Tracker as well. The EQ sounds very smooth and non-abrasive. It's got tubes in every channel in addition to on the mix bus, and TL knows how to do tubes right (they began manufacturing tube pieces before the so-called "tube renaissance" began). I've definitely got my eye on it for tracking drums (it's a great deal for the preamps alone, let alone 8 channels of EQ as well) as well as for mixing out of my Digital Performer setup to "glue" my mixes together as well as allowing me to use some of my outboard gear.

I'll second (or is it third?) that opinion. I am a fan of the TL audio gear, and have had several of the original series units (now remarketed as the "Classic Range") in my rack for years. The M3 reminds me sonically of the dual channel mic pre/EQ combo, but with a more flexible EQ section. Same great sound though, and I paid a lot more per channel for mine. I think it's going to be a really killer front end piece for a lot of DAW users.
