Cakewalk pro audio - Direct show5 error

I seem to be having a bit of trouble. I installed cakewalk pro audio on my computer. Everything seemed to work fine untill i restarted my computer. Now every time my computer loads up it wants to install direct show 5. I cant seem to get rid of it. Every damm time the computer restarts it starts cakewalk install processs and then wants to install the directshow 5.. What could be the problem? does anyone know? Can you please advise me in what to do our where to head for some advice in this matter. Any adives would be much appreciative.
