Groove Agent in Sonar 2 XL timing out?

Well, even though I havn't even figured out how to get Sonar to record VST plugins yet, I was playing with Groove Agent last night & it would run for a while & then stop & it would't do anything unless I pushed afill button or something & then it would only play the fill.

Is this a latency issue.

System:

XP Pro

Athlon 2.4
768mb RAM
7200RPM drive
Soundblaster Audigy

I havn't tryed tweaking the system for audio preformance yet.

Maybe you should try teaking the system. I also use Groove Agent and it works well for me in Cubase SX, but I also use it in Sonar XL with a VST to DX wrapper (Fxpansion). It works just fine and there are no problems.

Try runing the kernal streaming option in Sonar to make sure that everything's alright.
