Hi I have a M series board that I run my direct guitar sound into before it goes to the converters. Would a Isa 110 with a transformer based line input greatly improve the sounds of the direct instruments. I use marshall amps with a se 100 speaker emulator.

thanks

I think it would, especially if you're applying any EQ...the EQ in the M-series boards is nice compared to other mixers in its price range, but the ISA EQ is in a whole separate league. The compressor's nice as well...and you'd find a lot of uses for it other than just direct guitar (unless that's all that you record, I guess).
