Hello all,
We've got a problem in the studio with our Jade-S desk and trying to get timecode and automation to work. The first prob we had was trying to get RADAR 24 hooked up so that it displays the correct timecode on the desk. We managed to get the timecode on the desk to show the same as on RADAR..but...when you stopped RADAR and went back to the start of recording, the desk timecode would just stay the same from where it was stopped! When you rewind and press play again in RADAR it just continues from where it left off in the timecode on the desk!:confused:
We've tried going thru all the various settings on RADAR and on the desk but nothing seems to help..We are using MTC data via a 15m MIDI cable from the desk into the machine room which houses the RADAR machine. Someone suggested maybe getting a JL Cooper to covert the MTC to SMPTE..but i know of other people who arent having any problems and are using the same set up as us!
If anyone out there has come across a similar problem or can think of a way to sort it out then that would be greatly appreciated!
